In December 2002, with a good number of years of experience in industry behind them, Robert Prechtl, Stefan Kelsch and Thomas Rubenbauer set up ASK GmbH in Freihung. Their idea – to deliver complex manufacturing systems, perfectly tailored to the customer's needs, as fast as possible.

A comprehensive aluminium modular profile system designed for this purpose became successful after only a short time. They were very soon able to penetrate the relevant markets, in particular in the south of Germany.

Austria was subsequently opened up as a new market in 2006, and a sales office was set up there in Anthering (near Salzburg).

ASK expands further – in 2007 the company moves into a new building in a new location in Vilseck, with 500 m² of assembly space, 600 m² of warehousing and 300 m² of office space. The new business premises also has potential for further growth, in this case the expansion of the warehousing area.

The company’s warehousing capacity is significantly expanded. A new warehouse with around 1,000 m² is put into operation.

We are still developing. Our product portfolio is undergoing constant further expansion. ASK GmbH currently has one of the most comprehensive modular profile systems on the market.

You currently have the choice of over 150 different aluminium profile cross-sections and far in excess of 1,000 different accessory parts. In addition to this, we also supply products for the area of workplace systems – for example, a wide spectrum of LED lights, drawer cabinets and ergonomically-designed work chairs.

Many prestigious companies have included products from ASK GmbH in their product specifications. ASK GmbH currently employs around 40 people and have their own sales team in the Baden Württemberg region, for example. They also have business partners in Saxony, Hessen and North Rhine-Westphalia.
